Want to explore a little further away ?  Within walking distance you can find a stunning secluded walking and cycling path. The path, which winds through woodland glades, around agricultural land and a local small village is an absolute delight. By bicycle, the path takes around an hour at a leisurely pace, and around two hours to walk. The path is fairly clearly marked but we will provide you with a map of the route; just ask.

A 10 minute walk will take you to bus stops heading north to the town of Serilhac and Limoges, or south to Chalus.

Also just a short walk away, you'll find a small but secluded lake where you can enjoy an almost guaranteed piece of tranquil space all to yourselves. The catch and release lake is stocked with carp and you are welcome to fish there on that basis. you can also swim in the lake. Please note; we do not own this lake so ask that you respect it and any others using it.

If you want complete seclusion, then you can head down another of our local lanes and into the local woodland where you will also find a small lake. There is no fishing or swimming allowed is lake however.
